3.7V LiPo Battery Power Shield for Arduino
Give your Arduino project autonomy with the 3.7V LiPo Battery Power Shield for Arduino. This allows you to power your Arduino project using common 3.7V LiPo batteries.
However there is much more - the shield uses an on-board MAX17043G+U power monitor IC, which allows you to monitor the battery power supply. Your project can be alerted to low-charge situations via an interrupt on Arduino digital pin D2 so you can effectively manage charging. The power monitor IC is connected to the I2C bus.
Furthermore, you can directly charge a connected battery via the onboard mini USB socket at 500 mAh. Awesome!
Getting started...
Everything is plug-and-play, however please download and install the Arduino library for the battery monitor IC.
