Now available from PMD Way is this great value TJA1051 High Speed Low Voltage CAN Transceiver Board. We offer this board as it is fully 3.3V compliant - ideal for low-power microcontroller projects and perfect for use with the Raspberry Pi. 

The TJA1051 is an upgraded version of the popular high-speed CAN transceiver TJA1050 - with improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) performance, with the following features:

  • The transceiver is not visible on the bus when the power is off or in low power mode;
  • TJA1051T/3 and TJA1051TK/3 I/O port can be directly connected with a 3~5V DC microcontroller interface

Please note that the TJA1051 does not support bus wake standby mode. Inline header pins are included but not soldered to the board.
