1602 Character LCD Modules with Positive RGB and I2C Interface

Now available from PMD Way are these fun and useful LCD modules with positive RGB color system and an I2C interface. Displays consisit of two rows of sixteen characters, with black text on an RGB LED backlight. 

Displays are logic-compatible for 3.3V and 5V DC, so ideal for Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Connection to the LCD is either via a "Grove"-type connector, or five inline holes on the PCB (labeled "CN1" in the drawing below).

Please note that you can only have one color for the background at any time, the photos are a demonstration of sorts to give you an idea of what color range is possible.
