All prices are listed in US dollars. You can change the display currency, however the exchange rates may vary compared to local markets. All orders will be charged in US dollars.
1. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping is FREE for all orders! Once your order has been processed (within one to a few days) tracking details will be sent to your email address.
You can follow order tracking via the tracking link found in your order emails or via the "My Account" link at the top of our home page. Time for delivery depends on your location, and can vary between one and four weeks. If your order consists of two or more different products, the order may be sent in multiple shipments.
Shipping upgrades are available for individual items, and can be cost-effective for bulk orders. To get a shipping quote, please email email@example.com with your country name and a link to the item you are interested in ordering.
2. Continuity of Supply
We cannot control the supply and demand of products in the market, and thus we do not guarantee continuity of supply. However, if you are considering manufacturing a product and it contains an item from PMD Way - CONTACT US FIRST so we can discuss product availability, lead times, packaging types, and also volume pricing. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with your requirements.
3. Website and Information Content and Disclaimer
All possible care is taken in preparing the information presented on our website. The content provided is subject to change without prior notice and against our best efforts may contain inaccuracies. PMD Way Ltd will not be held liable in any way for any errors or omissions and losses from their use with regards to information described or products sold within pmdway.com - this also includes information given by us to you through via any medium - including electronic form, in written form, in person or via any other means of communication.
Products may vary from time to time and thus there is a chance the product details or specifications including images, video, colour, or look may differ from the actual product. If you are unsure about a product, contact us and we'll be more than happy to double-check anything for you.
We accept payment via Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and PayPal (which also includes Visa, Mastercard, and American Express cards linked to your PayPal account).
If your item has arrived damaged, not working or different to that described in the order - you can make a DOA (Dead On Arrival) claim within five days of receiving the item. To initiate a claim simply email email@example.com. To complete the claim we may ask you for a photo or video showing the issue, a photo of the shipping label and original packaging and if you require a refund or replacement.
Unless otherwise noted on the product page, items have a 90 day warranty. If an item is deemed faulty we can offer you your choice of a replacement or refund. We may require a photo or video of the item as part of the process, and larger or more valuable items will need to be returned to us at our expense before replacement or refund can be processed. To initiate a warranty claim please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
However in saying that, we like to apply common-sense to warranty claims. For example, if you bought a piece of test equipment such as sound level meter - you would expect it to last much longer that 90 days, so we will take that into consideration. We want you as a customer and will do out best to solve your problems if they arise with regards to faulty goods.
Please note - the warranty of some products such as semiconductors and electronics kits is void once construction or use has started, as we cannot give a warranty on the user's workmanship or understanding of component use. If in doubt, seek support before using a product.
6. Electronics Kit Warranty
Components included in our range of electronics kits are covered by our usual standard warranty - however once used, we cannot guarantee the components used nor the workmanship of the constructor. However if you open a kit and find something is missing or not right, contact us immediately. All warranty claims for a kit are void once construction has begun. If you open a kit and decide it's too difficult for you - contact us to discuss your options. If you have any doubts about your ability to assemble a kit - don't start, instead contact us for help.
7. "Change of Mind" policy
Please be sure of your choices before placing an order. Once you make and pay for an order, it usually cannot be altered - as we get moving on it ASAP... as you want your stuff yesterday. However if you still want to make a change, email email@example.com AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. By placing an order you understand and agree that it may not be cancelled and will proceed as usual.
If you have received your order and would like to return brand-new, unused and sealed new items for a refund, you can request this up to seven days after receving the items. You will be responsible for posting the items back to us at your expense, at which point we will process a refund in full once the item has been received by us and confirmed as new and unused.
Our postal address is located in Hong Kong. We recommend you use registered post or a trackable shipment service when returning goods. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate this process.
Our change of mind policy operates in good faith between us and our customers. We may refuse orders from customers who become serial order-returners.
8. Non-delivery of order
If your item is not delivered within 30 days of date of shipment (excluding processing time) you can generally receive your choice of a refund or re-shipment. Email email@example.com to investigate further. You understand and agree that there are exceptions to this, including:
- Orders processed during public holidays in China will delay orders
- Orders delayed by customs or border protection will take longer
- If you refuse to pay import charges and the parcel is confiscated by your home country, you cannot receive a refund
- If your parcel is rejected by customs or border protection and returned to us, we may offer a refund if and only if the goods are returned correctly to our supplier. This may take some time to verify.
We do not offer a refund if your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (for example, not providing your full name or a correct delivery address), or if your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of PMD Way Limited (such as customs clearance problems, orders affected by natural disasters and so on).
If your order tracking states "Delivered" however you cannot find your parcel, please contact your local postal service to follow this up. PMD Way Limited takes no responsibility for delivered packages that are missing.
9. Limited Liability
We expressly disclaim all liability for product or information defects or errors and any effects, damage or loss that they may cause you. We do not accept any liability for your loss exceeding the repair, replacement or refund for goods purchased. You use products and information provided at your own risk.
10. Product Certification
We make no promises about, nor offer any certification for any product sold by PMD Way Limited. Some items may be RoHS compliant, however if you are unsure please ask us (via firstname.lastname@example.org) before purchasing items in question.
