Now available from PMD Way is the TA7642 AM radio IC in packs of twenty. This is the replacement for the MK484 (which replaced the ZN414).

You can easily make an AM radio just like millions of people before you. We really like these as you can power them from a 1.5V cell for a low-power, long-life radio.
