Remember the Blackberry? Most of you should, and one endearing feature was its trackball for navigation. And now you can harness this in your own projects using the Blackberry Trackball Breakout Board Module from PMD Way.

Mounted on a convenient PCB, the trackball offers you the up/down/left/right along with select (when the ball is pressed in).

Furthermore there's a red, green, blue and white LED mounted beneath the ball which can be used to create colors to illuminate the ball. Inline header pins are included bit not soldered to the board.

The ball motion is tracked via hall-effect sensors,
