Amazing Retro Pac-Man Clock

As smartphones have become more and more ubiquitous in the modern world, bedside alarm clocks seem to be going out of style. Logically, you’d need a good reason to have another device in your house, and this DIY Pac-Man clock is an excellent excuse.

The project appears fairly simple to build with the code provided in its write-up. The clock has an Arduino Mega as its core, along with a touchscreen, an RTC module, a sound recording module, and layers of MDF as its housing.

Although the enclosure is laser-cut, it would seem that a CNC router or even hand tools could be substituted as needed.

As seen in the demonstration video below, it looks like one heck of a way to wake up in the morning!
