Make a pair of speakers with inbuilt VU meters
Often found in audio equipment from the late 20th century, VU meters have become somewhat passé thanks to the rise of digital audio and portable music devices.
However to some, VU meters still look awesome and that's why we love these speakers by Mayur Singh.
The enclosures have been 3D printed, and inside is the speaker itself , the LEDs and control circuitry for the VU meter.
VU meters are useful in that they not only add a visual representation of the music, but also indicate the signal level of the music being played.
