The Ultimate Binary Watch
We can never get enough of clock or watch projects, and this Binary Watch project by APTechnologies is a great example of creating a final product from an idea.
They've taken the idea of a binary clock and created a compact PCB that fits in a custom 3D-printed watch enclosure that can accept contemporary bands. by using a Microchip ATmega328P-AU SMD microcontroller it's easily updatable using the Arduino IDE, and an external RTC enables accurate time-keeping.
The watch has a rechargeable battery with a lifespan of around two weeks, and the onboard USB connector allows for easy recharging.
Certainly an inspirational project, and you can learn how from the Instructables page.
