Not only can you take images in the dark, unlike the NoIR camera this unit has a wide-angle lens with a 175 degree field of vision.
Furthermore you can bolt in the included infra-red illuminators on both side of the lens for excellent imaging, or to make it look like a robot head.
Both is good.
Camera includes both a cable to connect to a regular Raspberry Pi AND the cable to connect to a Raspberry Pi Zero.
