Now available from PMD Way are classic FTDI USB to serial interface boards in packs of ten, using the FT232RL converter IC.
They can be switched between 3.3V and 5V operation using the included header jumper. You can draw up to 500mA through the module, which has a self-restoring fuse for that amount.
Ideal for LilyPad controller boards. USB socket is mini USB type. Board measures 36 x 17.5mm.
