Build a Smart Doorbell with Video Intercom using Raspberry Pi
During these times of keeping distance between people - you may not want to open the front door to visitors. However nobody wants to be anti-social, so one solution is to build a two-way video doorbell.
This has been demonstrated by two engineers at the Hacker Shack, who use a Rasperry Pi, Jitsi free videoconferencing software and some clever code to accomplish a neat and professional solution. They run through this in the following video:
An outstanding and surprisingly well-executed solution - and the 3D-printed enclosure nails it. For complete details, please visit the project website.
