The over-engineered Pen Holder

Sometimes when you need a simple item, it can be fun to take an idea to the extreme. One excellent example of this is the "OverEngineered Pen Holder" made from PCBs by Arnov Sharma. 

They've build a pen holder that has LED-illuminated sides, and can be recharged easily via USB. A device can also be charged from the pen holder. Madness. An IP5303 battery-management IC is used to take care of the 18650 rechargeable battery. You can check it all out in the following video:
