These USB to DC plug boost cables are quite interesting - they have an integrated boost converter, so you can plug it into any USB port (from a computer, battery pack, etc) and it will give you a higher DC voltage!
They're a handy way to power 9V or 12V powered devices with a 2.1mm DC barrel jack from a USB port.
Use the options menu to select between 5V, 9V or 12V boost cable. 5V cable simply passes 5V through from USB socket to DC plug.
