Easily locate the right resistor with the Resys system
If you have lots of storage drawers for electronic components or other tiny things, and often have trouble locating the right drawer - then you may need the Resys system developed by Lynlimer that uses the Arduino development platform.
The example project is used for storing resistors. It consists of a control panel and LCD display which is used to enter the required resistor value. If available, the matching resistor drawer is illuminated via an RGB LED. Check out the following video for an example:
This is an excellent demonstration of an automated storage location system, and you can learn more from the project's Instructable page.
And if you're interested in doing this yourself, PMD Way can help you with the parts, such as:
- Arduino Nano-compatible boards
- Numeric keypads
- WS2812B RGB LEDs and strips
- prototyping PCBs
- and more...
