Now available from PMD Way is this great value 8" TFT LCD display - ideal for your Raspberry Pi, computer or any device with a VGA or HDMI video output.
The display is powered by 5~24V DC 2A via the 2.1mm DC socket on the controller board. An infra-red remote control is included to control the display from afar.
You can feed in higher resolutions up to full HD via HDMI, and the display will down-scale it to 1024x768.
Along with the VGA video input, there's also an analog video input that will take over the display when a signal is present. This display was originally designed for automotive use, so that feature would be used by a reversing camera. However you can just ignore it if required.
