APA106 Addressable RGB Through Hole LEDs

Love RGB LEDs like the WS2812B, Adafruit NeoPixels and others - but can't deal with surface-mount soldering? Well your problems have been solved thanks to these addressable RGB LEDs from PMD Way

That's right - RGB LEDs in a normal enclosure - that are fully addressable from your Arduino or other microcontroller. Each LED contains an APA106 controller IC. Awesome! 

We offer these LEDs in both 5mm and 8mm diameter - and in packs from two to one thousand. Select your requirement from the drop-down menu.

APA106 LEDs are compatible with the WS2812B LED libraries used with Adafruit NeoPixels, WS2812B etc. so coding is a dream. You can spread the legs a little, and they fit in a breadboard nicely:
