Arduino Compatible 4x4x4 LED Cube Kit

Now available from PMD Way is this fun and easy-to-assemble 4x4x4 LED cube kit. Once completed you have a fun and expandable LED cube which can be used for all sorts of display and fun effects. 

You can create and upload your own visual effects written in an Arduino sketch to the cube, then power it from two AA cell batteries or USB without needing a computer. A small amount of soldering is required, however all the tricky work and all the surface-mount soldering has been done for you. 

The kit includes all the parts shown below, which give you all the things you need including the USB interface for uploading code and the lovely strong clear enclosure.
