The scanner is plug-and-play, and you can select between USB and RS232 interfaces. If you order the RS232 version you will need an external 5V 1A DC power supply with a 2.5 x 5.5mm DC plug.
Please note that this scanner does not have an RJ45 interface. Instead, the included RS232 or USB cable connects to the RJ45 socket leading from the scanner module.
