Easily measure wind direction with this sensor from PMD Way.
This sensor outputs an RS485 modbus signal that is relevant to the direction. Your microcontroller or other device needs an RS485 interface.
Direction is calculated as 4mA for zero degrees, then 1mA for each of sixteen directions.
