If you need to electrically connect higher-current devices that have a point of rotation in between the two (such as a steering wheel, or driveshaft) then you need a slip ring.
This is an electromechanical device that allows power and data to be transferred from a stationary system to a rotating one.
PMD Way offers a rang of high-current slip rings, including a new line that has your choice of 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 channels at between 5 and 60A current-handling levels.
