If you need to electrically connect devices that have a point of rotation in between the two (such as a steering wheel, or driveshaft) then you need a slip ring.
This is an electromechanical device that allows power and data to be transferred from a stationary system to a rotating one.
PMD Way offers a rang of slip rings, including a new line that has your choice of 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, and 18 channels at 2A current-handling levels.
