Build a Latching Pushbutton On/Off Circuit

Now it's time for some interesting tutorials about analog electronics. Instructables user JD_K needed a push on-push off power switch for a project, and implemented a classic and neat solution using two transistors and some passives.

This is an interesting circuit for beginners in the world of electronics, as it results with a useful took to keep in your analog electronics "toolbox" - by using a soft on/off switch in a project, it looks a lot more professional than a mechanical power switch.
