Build an Arduino-powered Periodic Table Clock

We can never get enough clock projects, and the more different the better. One fine example of this is the Periodic Table Clock by instructables member Görkem Bozkurt who uses WS2812B-type addressable RGB LEDs to illuminate elements of the periodic table to display hours, minutes and seconds.

The clock is controlled by an Arduino Nano-compatible board and a real-time clock module for accurate timekeeping. We really like the use of 3D-printing to build the frame which holds the LED strips in place for accurate display of the elements. Check out the clock in the following video:
