Build an Arduino-powered scrolling text clock
Next in the infinite line of Arduino-powered clock projects that have been demonstrated on the Internet is this interesting Arduino-powered scrolling text clock by John Boxall.
Although not the newest of projects, we really liked it as the clock displays the time in words, as you would think of saying the time. For example "It's two twenty-three".
The P10 matrix display is controlled via an Arduino Uno-compatible board along with a real-time clock IC module for accurate time-keeping. A demonstration of the clock is shown in the following video:
For complete details, please check out the project page. And if you're interested in doing this yourself, PMD Way can help you with the parts, such as:
- Arduino Uno-compatible boards
- Real-time clock modules
- P10 LED matrix boards
- and more...
