Build an LED Kaleidoscope
Those of us of a certain age will remember using a kaleidoscope for entertainment, a tube filled with colored crystals whose patterns changed when rotating the 'scope and exposing it to various levels of light.
Alain from Alain's Projects has dragged this concept into the 21st century with his LED Kaleidoscope, a lovely example that uses normal and blinking LEDs for the internal lighting effects.
With a laser-cut enclosure, the result is something that any maker can be proud of and others should enjoy. For more information, check out the project's instructable page.
