O-Clock - the side-lit analogue clock
We can never get enough clock projects, and this next example by Hans Anderson is a great example of what you can do with minimal electronics and a 3D printer.
Hans has enclosed WS2812B RGB LED strip around the internal circumference of a 3D-printed round enclosure. Thus has holes along the edge and face to allow for light to be emitted from the face, and from the side via fibre-optic light tubes.
Timekeeping and control is via the classic combination of an Arduino-compatible board with a DS3231 real-time clock IC. Check out the clock in operation via the video below. Hysterical mode looks great!
