Use LEGO and Arduino to build an awesome Matrix Clock
If there's one thing the Arduino platform is good for - it's making clocks. There is and will be an endless stream of Arduino-powered clocks ... and quite frankly, we love it.
One awesome example of this has been demonstrated by Sofia Rivas who uses MAX7219 LED matrix modules and a real-time clock module driven by an Arduino-compatible board to make the following LED/LEGO clock:
For complete details, please check out the project page. And if you're interested in doing this yourself, PMD Way can help you with the parts, such as:
- Arduino Nano-compatible boards
- Real-time clock modules
- MAX7219 matrix boards
- and more...
