Sometimes you quickly need to use an LED, but don't want to mess around with resistors. Sure, you could stab it straight between a digital output and GND - however that won't end well. 

Instead, keep a pack of our 10mm RGB LED breakout boards on hand. They're large, bright and the boards have the resistors fitted so you can quickly wire the LED up to your outputs without worry. 

Ideal for 3.3 to 5V use, and the LED is common-cathode. You connect your digital outputs to the R, G and/or B pins - and GND back to your project's GND.

Sold in packs of five.
