Now available from PMD Way is this great value Bluetooth v5 Audio Receiver Board. It's ideal for turning amplified speakers or stereo headphones into a Bluetooth-capable wireless setup. 

You can power the board via 5v micro USB, or wiring in between 3.7 and 24V DC. You can add a power button by wiring a simple SPST button to the two pins next to the DC power input. 

The Bluetooth pairing name is "XY-WRBT" and doesn't require a PIN. Onboard LED flashes quickly when unpaired, and slowly when paired and music is playing. Audio output is via the 3.5mm stereo socket or the three pins on the right-hand side of the board (left, GND, right). 

You can connect and charge a 3.7V battery to the power pins, and charge it via the micro USB socket ONLY if the battery has its own charging circuit.
