If you're experimenting with ESP8266 ESP12E/F or ESP32 boards then you need this useful ESP32 and ESP12 Prototyping Shield from PMD Way.

The PCB is double-sided, one side is for ESP12 and the other side is for ESP32. All the pins for each module are brought out to standard 0.1" PCB holes, which are then surrounded by a useful prototyping area. 

For example - ESP12x:
