Now available from PMD Way is the PAM8406 3W Stereo class-D Audio Power Amplifier IC in packs of ten. 

IC is in SOIC16 SMD packaging. 

This compact IC offers 3W per channel into four ohm speakers with a level of efficiency around 90%. This is ideal for small, portable audio projects such as portable radios, speakers or MP3 players.

Specifications:

• Power output - 3W into 4 Ohms 
• Filterless, low quiescent current and no EMI
• zero speaker pop at turn-on
• Requires 5V DC
