Solar LiPo Battery Charger Shield for Arduino
If you need to give your Arduino-compatible project autonomy from wired power, then this Solar LiPo Battery Charger Shield for Arduino from PMD Way with free delivery solves the problem.
You can use this shield to accept power from a solar or external source between 4.8 and 6 V DC, which will be used to charge an optional LiPo battery.
You can also charge the LiPo battery via the shield's micro USB socket. Onboard LED will show the charging status. Maximum continuous charge current is 900 mA.
- Maximum output power (with battery): 3 W (600 mA @ 5 V).
- You can monitor battery voltage in your Arduino sketch with shield's link to analog input pin.
- The JST sockets on the shield are JST-PH 2.0mm type.
