8 Channel Relay and RS485 Board for Arduino Nano-compatible
If you're looking for a compact and powerful method of controlling up to eight relays and communicating via RS485 with an Arduino-compatible board, then this 8 Channel Relay Board for Arduino Nano-compatible boards from PMD Way with free delivery solves your problem.
The board is based around an Arduino Nano-compatible, which allows you to easily write controlling code using the easy Arduino ecosystem, or with AVR C or assembly language.
The board is equipped with eight relays capable of switching up to 30 V DC or 250 V AC at 10A. There is also eight inputs which are fully isolated using optocouplers (low level trigger, NPN type), a four digit seven segment numeric LED display - and all inputs and outputs are easily accessible with terminal blocks. An RS485 interface. And four tactile buttons for use with your interface.
Using this board and your own code, you can control eight relays, accept digital inputs from eight devices, create your own displays using the four digits, communicate with devices over RS485, and accept user input with the buttons. Consider this to be a very inexpensive alternative to a simple PLC-based relay control system.
You can also use this as an RS485-based master device in a PLC system as a replacement for the Human-Interface Device.
We have four options available for this product, of which you can select from the options menu:
- 12 V DC operation
- 24 V DC operation
- 12 V DC operation with a DIN rail mount
- 24 V DC operation with a DIN rail mount
An Arduino Nano-compatible board is not included. Click here if you need one.
