Arduino Uno Compatible with ESP8266 and 32Mb Flash
If you want to combine an Arduino Uno or compatible board and an ESP01 ESP8266 module for your projects, save a lot of time and effort with this board from PMD Way.
It offers you
- an Arduino Uno compatible board with full R3 pinouts and micro USB interface
- ESP8266 WiFi microcontroller with 32Mb of flash memory
- Full level-converted serial interface between the Arduino circuitry and ESP8266
- Enhanced internal 3.3V power supply for ESP8266
The board has a set of DIP switches that can be used to configure the ESP<>Arduino<>USB interfaces:
- Arduino to USB (normal Arduino configuration)
- ESP8266 to USB (to upload firmware to ESP)
- Arduino to ESP serial TX/RX (to allow the Arduino to communicate with the ESP8266)
Using the onboard DIP switches, you can connect the Arduino to the USB interface, or the ESP8266 to the USB interface, or the ESP8266 to the Arduino via GPIO for interfacing between the two platforms. Thus you can easily upload firmware to the ESP or Arduino (click image to enlarge):
If you have selected the Mega328+ESP8266 switch settings - the ESP's TX/RX are connected to the matching Arduino RX/TX pins (D0/D1).
