The shield arrives fully assembled, and ready to use. There's an onboard 5V power supply so you can power your entire project including thirsty relay coils without worrying about the capacity of your Arduino. 

Furthermore an XBee socket and power supply is fitted, ideal for creating home automation projects via XBee wireless.

Specifications:

  • Onboard power supply - 7~12V DC in, 5V DC 500mA out
  • Onboard XBee power supply - 3.3V 100 mA
  • Each relay can switch 250V AC 3A or 30V DC 3A
  • Full optocoupler isolation for relay controls
