Now available from PMD Way is this tiny 5~15V DC Square Wave Oscillator based on the 555 timer.

As you can see in the images, the 555 astable circuit is build onto a tiny PCB - whose connections are standard 0.1"/2.54mm inline header pins. You can drop this right into a solderless breadboard or your own prototyping PCB. 

The onboard trim pot is used to determine the output frequency.

There are three models with different output frequency ranges, please use the options menu to select your required range. 

Duty cycle cannot be adjusted, and falls within 50~65%. 

Operating voltage is between 5~15V DC. You can draw up to 200mA from the output pin.
