If you need to go large, and 150W large - then this 150W DC-DC boost module from PMD Way is for you. This module can offer an adjustable output range of 12~35V using an input range of 10~32V DC. 

The output voltage is adjustable with the blue trimpot, and the input voltage mustn't exceed the output voltage. If you're going to exceed 100W, a cooling fan would be a good idea. (Remember - W = V x A)

You can run a 19V 3.42A notebook using this module form a 12V battery, doing so reported a temperature of around 45 degrees Celsius. The unit does not have input or reverse polarity protection, so design accordingly by using a series diode on the input and a fuse if necessary.
