Now available from PMD Way is the DS18B20 1-wire digital sensor encased in a waterproof enclosure on the end of an 80cm lead.

Great for sensing temperatures of liquids, soil and ... well anything you can get the sensor in. The stainless-steel housing is 6 x 45mm and has a temperature range of -55~+125 degrees Celsius.

The sensor works on both 3.3 and 5V DC.

Please note that the heatshrink surrounding the sensor is not food-grade. 

Connections:

  • red - 3~5V DC
  • blue - data
  • black - GND

  • green - data
