Triple 74HC595 Output Port Expander
Shift registers offer a simple and fun way of controlling many digital output pins with only three digital outputs from your microcontroller or host device. The classic 74HC595 has eight outputs, each good for sinking or sourcing around 6 mA of current. Great for LEDs!
This board takes it further, with three 74HC595 shift registers - so that's 24 outputs for your blinky projects and more. The board is fully assembled. Inline header pins as shown are included, but not soldered to the board.
