12V DC Digital Time Delay Relay Module

Turn an item on or off after a pre-set period of time with this useful 12V DC Digital Time Delay Relay Module from PMD Way. 

The module has convenient buttons for timer control, stop/start, pause and displays the relay status, timer amount, etc. Full instructions are included for easy installation and setup. 

There are nine types of timer operations which can be selected:

1. Turn on and stay on for selected time when triggered, then turn off. Cannot be re-triggered until original time has elapsed
2. Turn on and stay on for selected time when triggered, then turn off. Can be re-triggered before original time has elapsed
3. Turn on and stay on for selected time when triggered. If triggered before time has elapsed, unit will turn off
4. Turn off when triggered and stay off for elapsed time, then turn back on
5. Turn on for selected time, then turn off for selected time, and repeat a selected number of times. If triggered, timer will stop and relay will stay in current mode
6. Turn off for selected time, then turn on for selected time, and repeat a selected number of times. Then relay stays on at end of loops. If triggered, timer will stop and relay will stay in current mode
7. When system turned on, relay will turn on and off at set times, you can sent number of repetitions. Trigger is inactive.
8. When system turned on, relay will stay off for set time, then turn on for set time and repeat. You can set number of repetitions. Relay stays on at the end. Trigger is inactive
9. Continuous trigger will hold relay off, once trigger removed the relay turns on after a set time. A trigger will then reset time and start over. 

The timer module requires a power supply of between 6 and 12 V DC for operation, and the enclosed relay can switch on or off up to 30 V DC at 5A or 220 V AC at 5A.

A low trigger signal is between zero and 0.2 V DC, and a high trigger signal is between 3 and 24 V DC. So anything from a button between operation power and a microcontroller of any type with a digital output can trigger this timer. 

The module measures 80 mm across by 38 mm high, and is 19mm deep. If you make a slightly smaller cutout, it can be pushed and locked into a panel. No, we don't call this the "poop" timer.
