Now available from PMD Way is this useful five channel infra-red reflective sensor. This sensor contains five TCRT5000 sensors spaced evenly across the board. You can then use this to detect changes of surface, light and so on.
These are idea for use with robotics, as they're ideal for line-following robots.
You can power the sensor with 5V DC, and each reflective sensor has an output pin neatly arranged in the centre of the board.
