Compact Data Logging Module - RTC and micro SD Card

Easily log data from your microcontroller, Arduino or other platform with this compact data logging module from PMD Way.

This module contains three vital things:

• DS1307 real-time clock 
• battery backup for real-time clock
• microSD card socket with level converter

With this module you can store data along with the time and date for retrieval from the microSD card later.

Please note that the button cell battery is not included - it's a CR1220 which you can get from almost any store in your area. Inline header pins are included but not soldered to the board.

The real-time clock section uses the I2C bus, and the microSD card socket uses the SPI bus. Pinouts are labelled on the rear of the PCB.
