Now available from PMD way are huge 8mm WS2812 RGB LEDs in through-hole packaging. Now you can have fun with these awesome LEDs without worrying about surface-mount soldering. 

This item is for pack of 4500 LEDs with air courier delivery (FedEx, etc).

These are treated like any other WS2812B LED with regards to power, external capacitors and so on and shown in the example below:

Pinout - round side on left, flat side on right - Din, 5V, GND, Dout.
