Capacitive Fingerprint Sensor Module

Now available from PMD Way are these high-performance capacitive touch fingerprint sensors. Unlike cheaper models, these read much faster - they can scan and verify in less than half a second; and work in a much wider temperature range. 

The scanner is separate to the control unit, which also helps in keeping the reader safer from vandals or other unfortunate situations. 

This system can store up to 150 fingerprints including administrators. You can set the unit to out a high logic level of 0.5s, 1s or 10s once a successful read has occurred - ideal for signalling a microcontroller or computer for further action.
