The acceptor can be programmed to recognise six different coin types, and the onboard computer outputs a number of pulses that varies for each coin type - so your host microcontroller can determine the value inserted. 

Instructions are included with coin acceptor.

Specifications:

  • Acceptor requires 12V DC at 400 mA
  • 95% accuracy (95 customers out of 100 happy)
  • Recognition time of 0.6s
  • Accepts coins with a diameter of between 18 and 31mm
  • Accepts coins with a thickness of between 1.8 and 3mm
