Ideal for adding power-over-Ethernet to an existing network for a few nodes without upgrading the entire network. 

This process is easy - just unplug your LAN cables from your switch, plug them into the "device" ports on the injector, run short LAN cables from your switch to the "switch" ports on the injector, and plug in whatever power supply you have handy. Easily done, without any soldering.
