The ProtoCape arrives fully-assembled with a boot button, and has plenty of space for your own circuits. All PCB pads are double-sided and are laid out in a standard 0.1"/2.54mm spacing.
Furthermore the stacking header pins have label references for major points so you won't forget which is which.
