Tiny 4 to 24V DC to Adjustable Output 3A DC DC Buck Converter Module - 10 Pack
Now available from PMD Way is this incredibly tiny DC to DC buck converter module. It has an input voltage range of 4 to 24V DC, and has both an adjustable voltage output and fixed output ranges of:
- 1.8V DC
- 2.5V DC
- 3.3V DC
- 5V DC
- 9V DC
- 12V DC
Naturally the input voltage needs to be greater than the required output voltage. These modules are ideal for replacing classic 78XX-style power regulator-based power supplies in your projects, and will save you time and money. Check out the impressive specifications below.
This buck converter doesn't use electrolytic capacitors, instead - high-quality MLCC-type which last much longer and won't explode. Furthermore, the use of high-current low-resistance inductors on the switchmode converter allow for high efficienct and low-temperature operation.
Modules are sold in packs of ten. Please click here for packs of two.

Using your module:
Review the rear of the module as shown below:
- PCB pads use standard 0.1"/2.54mm pin spacing
- Connect both input and output -/GND to the GND pin
- Connect your input voltage to the IN+ pin
- Your voltage output (+) is the V0+ pin
- You can turn the board on or off by setting the EN pin HIGH or LOW respectively
- To select a fixed output voltage, simply bridge the two solder pads adjacent the voltage label you need
- To select the adjustable voltage output, ensure no other solder pads are bridged, then bridge the ADJ pads. Then you can use the onboard potentiometer to adjust your voltage output
