Use these USB C power delivery decoy modules from PMD Way to force USB C power delivery-type power supplies to output more than 5V DC for your own use. 

They contain a hardware PD IC that emulates a device which requires the higher voltage, and you can draw the power from the PCB pads on the module. 

Use the options menu to select your required PD voltage - 9V, 12V, 15V or 20V DC. Click here if you prefer units with adjustable voltage outputs.
